Rescue
My wife, Catherine, and I started rescuing Australian Shepherds over ten years ago. We still do private rescue and often have one or two foster dogs available for adoption at any time. Rescue is one of the reasons We started dog training. Too many of the dogs were turned into rescue for problems that were due to lack of training and therefore a lack of confidence on both the dog's and the owner's part when facing the challenges of living in town with an active intelligent dog.
If you are looking for a pet, please contact us for details on adopting. Like most rescue organizations we request you fill out an Adoption Application, have a home visit and complete an Adoption Contract. We always enjoy keeping in touch with our adopters and seeing how our former fosters are living the good life in their new homes.
