Get some Spark in your life! Spark is young (less than 2 years) active,
smart, athletic, loving and CUTE! She was surrendered to OHS (the
economy thing) and the noise and boredom were beginning to take their
toll so she was released to rescue. We thought at first that she might
be part Australian Shepherd because the has a bobbed tail. However,
having lived with her a while, it is obvious she is pretty much Border
Collie. She is house trained, crate trained, loves car rides, has her
basic obedience commands down, walks well on leash and has a great
recall. Like all Border Collies, she needs a firm but gentle hand to
provide order and structure in her life. She likes people, other dogs
and could learn to live with cats. She would do best with another dog
(or dogs) as a playmate and doggy daycare would be a plus. Look to
doing agility, flyball, freestyle, dock dogs, or hobby herding with this
girl. Like all Border Collies, a job to do will be an essential part of
keeping her happy and healthy. Free training lessons come with her to
help you all to settle in together.
